To ensure account security, we use a 6-digit One-Time Password (OTP) for email verification.

Auto-send

During onboarding, an OTP is sent automatically if you haven't verified yet.

Manual request

Trigger a new code from your Dashboard or Settings anytime.

10-minute window

Codes expire in 10 min. Three wrong attempts triggers a cooldown.

Pro tip: Check your spam folder if the code doesn't arrive within 60 seconds.

Sharing your feedback helps other developers choose the right path and helps us improve our curriculum.

  • Leaving a Review: Complete at least 1 day of a course, then leave a rating (1–5 stars) and a written review (minimum 10 characters).
  • Social Interactions: Vote "Helpful" or "Not Helpful" on other reviews. Top-rated reviews are pinned to the top of the course page.
  • Replies: Instructors and other developers can reply to reviews to offer guidance or thanks.
Managing Reviews: You can edit or delete your review at any time from the course review section.

  4. For private drills, enter the entry code

Hosting a drill lets you lead the community or your private team through a custom competition.

Configuration

Set language, difficulty (Beginner to Expert), and number of questions.

Monitoring

Monitor live participation and identify suspicious activity via the Host Dashboard.

Certification

Enable automated Drill Certificates (PNG/PDF) for top performers.

To make competitions more exciting, hosts can offer prizes. Here is how our mediation system works:

  • Discussion: Hosts and winners discuss prize distribution details directly through platform-mediated conversations.
  • Mediation: DevDrill acts as Oversight — we track discussions and ensure prizes are delivered as promised.
  • Safety: Never share sensitive personal information. Use trusted platforms (PayPal, crypto) as discussed with your host.

Share your country to appear in localized leaderboards.

Earned a rare achievement? Show it off! You can pin up to 5 badges to the top of your profile. These badges will follow you across the platform, appearing next to your name in drills and course reviews.

How to Pin: Go to your Profile Edit page → "Badges" section → click "Pin" on your favourite achievements.

  • Complete any learning activity daily to maintain your streak
  • Earn bonus DIO points for maintaining streaks

  2. Select the Security tab
  3. Click Change Password
  4. Enter your current password
  5. Enter and confirm your new password
  6. Click Update Password

Permanent Warning

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data will be lost.

  1. Go to SettingsAccount
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete Account
  4. Enter your password to confirm
  5. Read and acknowledge the warnings
  6. Click Permanently Delete
Consider Alternatives
  • Take a break: You can simply log out
  • Disable notifications: Turn off emails in settings
  • Export data: Download your progress before deleting
